Bye Bye Sunshine, it's time to rain

I love the rain

And, I love the feeling of it on my face.

Thank you, says Kolkata 🙂

Maybe you are wondering what happened after the alien invasion. We didn’t spot a single one until my chance discovery today.

So that’s where they were hiding? In the white coffee mugs of Capgemini. They’re taking over our minds through coffee! That’s why you feel squeamish after drinking a large cup of Joe…Smart move!

Why do people call a cup of coffee a “cup of joe“?

Josephus Daniels (1862-1948) was appointed Secretary of the U.S. Navy by President Woodrow Wilson in 1913. Among his numerous reforms of the Navy was the abolition of the officers wine mess. From that time on, the strongest drink aboard navy ships was coffee and over the years, a cup of coffee became known as “a cup of Joe”.

And, why do I call this cup of coffee a “cup of joe”?

Because I see the face of an alien in it.

Have a nice weekend 🙂

Focus 90% of your time on solutions

And, only 10% of your time on problems.

I took both these pictures on my way to office. While taking the second one, I was completely blinded by the sun. I didn’t see what I captured, but the result was amazing. Special thanks goes to Capgemini for dragging me out in this heat. I always complain about that, but apart from the cash, it is giving me regular supplies to keep this blog up and running. So, let’s enjoy the cool side of life.

In a nut-shell?

I wish he would listen to me. I wish he’d be a little more practical. Uff … he’s so crazy. Well, well think twice before you complain.

I owe my fairytale honeymoon in Paris to a cracked pot of a husband 🙂

Lull before the storm

Infiltration begins

And, Attack!

“In came the aliens

And, abducted all our maids

Leaving behind our managers

To worsen our day!”

The Truth:

PIC 1 – A min before the storm ensues.
PIC 2 – The reflection of the floor lights on the glass. Looks like UFO, don’t they?
PIC 3 – Storm hits bringing in relief 🙂

Found It!

I began my journey

With dreams in my eyes

I traveled places

To make a living

And, find a home

Some were nice

And it was hard to bid goodbye

Some were cold

And I willingly moved on

In my quest for a better tomorrow

Somewhere down the line

I underwent a shift

And, I began to follow

A different route

But, finally this day

I have reached the gates

Of eternal bliss

To enjoy my freedom

And spread my wings

But, it is a lot more fun

To share it with

My true one

So, I wait here now

For him to come

Right here, right now!

Say Cheese

Who says life is fair?

You smile more than you cry.

You sleep more than you need.

You eat more than you can handle.

You have more friends than foes.

Ooh, why do you still grumble?
